Half priced gingerbread house

hr

Rather than pay full price for a gingerbread house, we waited until the after Christmas to get one for only $4.50. It was well worth it!! Kinda keeps the Christmas spirit alive after Christmas.

C

CEU Museum

Here are some fun pictures from our adventures in the museum (no nothing came alive). Because it had snowed really hard the night before, there weren't that many people which made it really fun. It was just me, Royal and his sister Jean. It was a good thing that there wasn't that many people there because Royal touched what he thought was a fake alligator in a tank. When it suddenly moved and Jean and I screamed, we learned that it wasn't fake, it was definitely. very. real.

Christmas

Well, I'm trying to get caught up finally so there is going to be more pictures than words because that is faster anyways. Here is us getting our house ready for the holidays---Royal was having fun with the tree skirt.

We love our tree, every time we go anywhere fun (starting with our honeymoon) we get a fun ornament. Its a tradition that we are excited to carry on with our kids. For Christmas break we went up to East Carbon (stopping at the Crandle Canyon Mine Memorial). Mom and Dad Fryer had plenty of presents for everyone.

We got a Wii, church movie, a crystal with the Manti temple on it and from our secret santa we got a cool ice cream sundae kit which we use all the time.

While we were up there we went to the Dinosaur museum, ate dinner at the Pick n'Shovel,

saw the movie 4 Christmases. We love going up there!

Mesa Temple lights

Another favorite is the lighting of the Mesa Temple Christmas lights. Being in Utah, most people think of the Salt Lake Temple with lights, but this is what I think of!! We had so much fun walking around (and me taking 5,753,547 pictures-give or take 5 million)

Thanxgiving

Well now that I have posted our Halloween pictures, I should probably post our Thanksgiving ones as well. We had a lot of fun this year because we went to Mesa!! I was so excited to go!!

This is one thing I remember from when I was little. Whenver I would see this on the mountain, I knew that we were getting close!! Its for airplanes from way back in the day.
Going to the desert for Thanksgiving is one of my favorite things ever! All growing up, I loved Thanksgiving even more than Christmas. We stake out a place in the desert and have lots of food, horses, quads (referred to as four-wheelers in Utah) and lots and lots of family. This year we were worried about it being cancelled because it had been raining but we decided to tough it out and only had a little sprinkle for a few minutes. At the end of the night we planned family activities for the rest of the weekend. It was a pretty busy week!! Riding horses with Crue....he didnt really like it.

We are all about the family hugs!! I think Loni and cousin Heidi feel the same way!!

Royal is SO EXCITED to be here!!

Halloween

Well I know that its January and Halloween is either really far away or really far past. But I was looking through our camera and I found these fun pictures that I wanted to post. This was actually our first Halloween as a married couple because last year at this time we were frantically getting ready for the wedding! This Halloween was pretty fun. We went to a friends cabin at Brianhead for a overnight party the weekend before Halloween and then spent Halloween just the 2 of us. We went to go get a scary movie from Hollywood Video but of course all the non rated R movies were all checked out. There were tons of other people looking for clean horror movies (which I guess is an oxy moron......) but no one had much luck. It was fun to have candy for trick-or-treaters but we didn't get a whole lot so we ended up giving anyone that come a lot of candy!!

Our favorite nieces and nephews stopped by!!

Kelci came to show us her costume. She is a Cindy Who from Dr Seuss. And yes there is a cup in her hair!

Any Similarities?

When we were in AZ staying at my best friend Terina's house, they got a new camera and we were having fun taking pictures. Now you all get to see what I look like when I am getting ready in the morning. When I saw that Terina had posted it on her blog, I thought it looked like someone else. Do you think that we look like we could be brother and sister?? I do prefer warmer weather!!
